Welcome to PYSA!

Peninsula Youth Softball Association (PYSA) is a nonprofit, recreational fastpitch softball league in San Diego for girls ages 5-15. We are a "B" level league affiliated with USA Softball. One of the largest leagues in the county, we attract girls from central San Diego's coastal communities, including Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach and Bay Park, as well as Mission Hills, Hillcrest, North Park, Old Town and many more.

Our teams play and practice “softball by the sea” at Robb Athletic Field in beautiful Ocean Beach. Learn more about our league, our seasons of play, how to volunteer, softball resources and training videos, sponsoring a team or supporting our sponsors,  our annual Cool Breeze tournament, or how to contact us.

Ocean Beach People's Food Co-op has been community-owned and operated since 1971. Born from a neighborhood buying club which originally met on picnic benches at Ocean Beach, the founders who nurtured its growth were activists in a local movement to create alternatives to established institutions, including grocery stores. The dream was to create a store that provided healthy, non-polluting, vegetarian foods and products at a fair price; a store that belonged to the community, rather than to corporate stockholders.
