About the Spring Recreational Season

Spring is our flagship season, with over 360 girls participating. It's a great time for beginners to join us.

  • Registration starts in November and ends in early January
  • Opening Day is in February, and the season ends in late April or early May
  • Games are on Saturdays, with some weekday games after daylight savings time
  • Includes divisions 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U, meaning girls should have been between the ages of 5 and 14 on Sept. 1 of the previous year. (6U is a "T-ball"-type division.)

* PYSA collects a $100 refundable snack shack deposit per player during spring registration. After your family's three-hour shift in the snack shack is fulfilled, or if you are confirmed to be exempt (board members and team managers), your deposit will be refunded via Venmo. If you are not able to fulfill your snack shack shift, the deposit will be used as your opt-out payment.

The Breakers Cafe is a vital source of funding for our league and helps us keep registration fees reasonable. Our goal is to have a well-run snack shack and to return deposits promptly upon completion of volunteer obligations. Thank you for understanding.
